Pregnant Cat Knew It Was Time, so She Pulls In Foster Mom for Help

A special moment when a pregnant cat pulls her foster mom over to tell her it's time for the kittens has melted hearts. Charlene Robinson already has a house full of pets with nine cats, a dog, and several other foster cats, but for her, the more the merrier. Robinson knew Camille was pregnant when she decided to foster her through All Paws Matter Animal Rescue in North Carolina. She cleaned out and prepared the closet in her foster room for Camille, giving this mom-to-be the space she would need to comfortably bring her kittens into the world. But Camille didn't want space. She wanted her foster mom to be there with her. A house camera captured the moment Camille grabbed Robinson's finger, pulling her back into the closet. It was then shared in a March 15 TikTok video to the account @charlenerobinson784. Robinson said this was the exact moment she knew Camille needed her and it was time for the babies.

The moment initially took Robinson by surprise. She was expecting Camille to have her babies overnight while she was sleeping. But clearly, Camille needed her. And now, looking back, Robinson knows how this moment was special. In the comment section, Robinson said her sister also came over, whom Camille welcomed during the birth. As it turns out, Camille needed help and Robinson was thankful her sister knew what to do. The kittens are now 3 weeks old. Robinson told Newsweek via TikTok that they all seem to be doing well. She would love to keep them all, but with a full house already, she can't. "I'm seriously considering keeping one but I always do what's best for the kittens and mama," she said. "Camille has a strong attachment to one of the kittens so I think it would be wonderful if they could be adopted together." There has already been some initial interest in the kittens, but Robinson explained they will not be ready for adoption until they are between 8 and 10 weeks old.
