Man's Way of Entertaining Passengers During Flight Delay Causes Laughter

Flight delays can sometimes be dreadfully long with no end in sight, but one Florida man found a unique way to kill time and entertain his fellow passengers. Nicholas Pinto, a 23-year-old YouTuber based in Miami, told Newsweek that he was "so bored" during a flight delay at Miami airport he decided to share some bizarre memes with strangers via AirDrop, Apple's wireless service allowing users to share files with each other. Pinto's video showing passengers near the departure gate, and screengrabs of the photos that were being shared via AirDrop were posted by the official Instagram account of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). The video has had 2.7 million views since it was posted by the TSA on October 23.

Pinto said the viral video was taken last year at the Miami airport while waiting for a United Airlines flight to Los Angeles. "The delay was around five hours. I shared about 10 meme photos because I was so bored. Nobody found out it was me and everyone laughed. I feel like I made their day because they were all in a bad mood and this lifted them," he told Newsweek.

According to the video, the images shared via AirDrop included one of two feet that appeared to be posing as hands. A caption shared in the TSA post reads: "Error drop. Are they hands for feet, or feet for hands? Either way it's quite the feat! This live footage certainly leaves us with more questions than answers...." A message overlaid on the video says, "This lady was laughing so hard," as the clip shows a woman sitting with her hand over her face before the video ends.

Instagram users were in stitches over the latest viral clip, with several sharing they had done the same previously with strangers.

User jeans.wu said "I'm turning on my airdrop at airports from now on," and cherrybluepie_art wrote "Honestly it would make my day a whole lot better." User reasorsharp noted: "I airdrop memes to people at the airport alllll the time. I love hearing the laughter from people who have no idea who sent them." User theesarcasticmechanic also said: "This is my favorite thing to do at the airport. Sit at a restaurant and wait for victims." User andrew92387 added: "I used to do this all the time when I rode the subway in NYC." Do you have a travel-related video or story to share?
