With the end of Windows 10 support fast approaching, Microsoft is doing everything in its power to convince users to upgrade to Windows 11. Their latest strategy includes publishing an article explaining why a PC with Copilot+ is the ultimate upgrade for anyone still using a Windows 10 machine. Recent statistics have revealed that a significant number of Windows 10 users are not willing to make the switch to Windows 11. A large part of this comes from Steam data, which shows that nearly half of users are still on Windows 10. Many of them are either unable to upgrade due to Windows 11’s demanding hardware requirements or haven’t found a strong enough incentive to make the jump.
The blog post rounds off by directly targeting Windows 10 users, stating, “Now is the time to upgrade to a modern, more secure Windows 11 or Copilot+ PC.” So, it's clear that with this post, Microsoft is aiming to convince Windows 10 users who are still on the fence about upgrading to the latest operating system. That said, the company is also showing Windows 10 users large full-screen pop-ups convincing them to purchase a Windows 11 machine, with claims that they can “level up” their purchase by opting for a Copilot+ PC over a regular one.How Copilot+ PCs stack up:
